About me

I am a physiotherapist working with children (and some adults) with disabilities. I graduated from James Cook University in 2010 and began work with Disability Services.
I have worked in two offices first in a paediatric and adult combined therapy team, then working specifically with children. In both these roles I have been the only physiotherapist and have had to start physio services as the rolse did not exists before my starting!

I traveled to Vietnam in 2010 and spent time in small villages and orphanagse (trying to get off the beating track and out of the main tourist towns!). Here I saw the potential and need for more available allied health services, and family and community education.

I have since been keen to return

  1. Hi Lucy! I am volunteering with GGC this August. I've read through your blog and was wondering if we could chat about your experience volunteering with this company and volunteering in Vietnam in general. I'm not sure how to send a private message with my email address?
